Study of the relationships between SST and mackerel abundances in the Yellow and East China Seas

  • 摘要: 根据1998~2004年东黄海区鲐鱼灯光围网生产统计资料和相应年份的海洋表层水温(SST)数据以及厄尔尼诺现象的表征指标(Elnio 3.4A),以31N线将东黄海区域划分为南部和北部2个作业渔场,利用地理信息系统软件Marine Explorer 4.0对鲐鱼的资源丰度和作业渔场进行时间和空间尺度上的分析和研究,并探讨其与SST的关系。研究结果发现,北部作业渔场的平均单位努力渔获量(CPUE)高于南部作业渔场,且前者较为稳定。通过对产卵场SST与资源丰度的关系分析发现,产卵场在4~5月产卵期的SST与当年南部作业渔场的CPUE存在着显著的负相关关系,每年3~4月Elnio 3.4A指标与次年南部作业渔场CPUE之间存在着显著的正相关关系。

     

    Abstract: Based on the purse-seine production statistic data of mackerel from 1998 to 2004, the sea surface temperature (SST) data and Elnio 3.4A during the same period in the Yellow and East China Seas, the Yellow and East China Seas are divided into southern and northern fishing grounds by 31 N, the mackerel abundances and spatialtemporal distribution of the fishing grounds and their relationships with SST in these areas were analyzed respectively by using Geography Information System (Marine Explorer 4.0).The results showed that the average catch per unit of effort(CPUE)in northern fishing ground is higher than that of the southern fishing ground and the former is more stable.By analysis of the relationship between SST of spawning ground and fishing resource abundance,it was found that there was a negative relationship between SST in the spawning season during April and May and CPUE at the same year in southern fishing ground,but a positive relationship between the Elnio 3.4A in March and April of every year and CPUE of the following year.
