Abstract: Fisheries cooperations are one of the important contents of various cooperations between China and ASEAN. Under the complex international background of South China Sea, it accords with their long-term benefits to study the fisheries cooperation between China and ASEAN. The successful solution of South China Sea is propitious to fisheries cooperation between China and ASEAN, and whereas the further fisheries cooperation between China and ASEAN will also prompt the successful solution of South China Sea as soon as possible. In recent years, the fisheries cooperations between China and ASEAN have been made great achievements, especially beginning from the strengthened agricultural cooperations between China and ASEAN in 2001.
