Abstract: In this paper,the feeding as well as distributing habits of Sciaemops ocelletus under illumination conditions of four different light intensity and five coloured lights such as red, white, orange, green, blue were studied. The results showed that S.ocelletus had phototactic reactions to both different light intensity and colored lights; especially the blue light affected the feeding of S.ocelletus most, and in the next place were green and orange. Besides, S.ocelletus had positive trend to orange and red lights of medium light intensity, but negative trend to the others.
