Detection and ecology characteristic of sulfate-reducing bacteria

This paper reviewed the ecology characteristic of sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB)in the environment from carbon source, nitrogen source, oxygen, pH value, temperature and other factors.It also emphasized on the detection of SRB, and discussed the advantage of each detection method, and introduced the improvement of detection method with the development of technology and experimental con-dition.In addition, the harm of SRB to aquaculture development was described.
