Design and experiment of fishing device with electrical pulse for demersal fish in aquaculture pond

A user-friendly fishing instrument, with adjustable output pulse width and pulse frequency, status indication and alarm system, has been developed to alleviate the fishing labor intensity ofdemersal fish and to improve the fishing efficiency in aquaculture pond. The paper introduces the characteristics ofelectrical behaviors of fish , the mechanism of influence of electric field produced by discharge of pulse in water on fish behavior, determination of the electronic parameters and function of the system as well as the implementation and effect of the equipment.
