Analysis of false-positive reaction for HPLC determination of 17-methyltestosterone in aquatic product by HPLC

  • Based on a HPLC determination of 17-methyltestosterone in aquatic product, the author studies how to distinguish false-positive from true-positive results.Result shows that changing the rate of mobile phase can separate the false positive substance.Furthermore, a method is proposed to prevent or reduce the false positive results.
