Applied research of end points test on toxins in aquaculture fishes

  • Glutathione S-transferases (GSTs) is a well-established gene family that plays key roles in phase II enzymatic detoxification. End point test of toxins was based on the transcriptional expression change of GSTs induced by different toxins, which reflected different contaminative situations of toxins to organism. It is a simple and reliable method for toxin detection in fishes, and can further solve the problem of aquatic products safety.
